Salesforce to Invest $500 Million in AI Sector in Saudi Arabia

Cloud software giant Salesforce has announced its plan to invest $500 million in Saudi Arabia’s artificial intelligence (AI) sector. The company disclosed the information on Monday, February 10, as reported by Reuters. The announcement comes amid a global race among nations to attract investments in AI technology.

As part of this investment, Salesforce will launch Hyperforce in Saudi Arabia, a platform architecture that will be operated through a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Recently, several major investments have been announced in the AI sector. The interest in AI investment has surged, particularly after former U.S. President Donald Trump revoked his predecessor’s 2023 executive order that imposed regulatory controls on AI technology.

Salesforce has also revealed plans to partner with Capgemini, Deloitte, Globant, IBM, and PwC to expand the adoption of its customer service-focused product, AgentForce. Additionally, the company aims to integrate Arabic language support into its AI-related offerings.

The investment plan was unveiled at LEAP 2025, Saudi Arabia’s largest technology conference, held on Thursday, February 8. The event has enabled the Saudi government to attract $14.9 billion in new investments in the AI sector.

Earlier this month, Salesforce also announced its plans to establish a regional headquarters in Riyadh and to train 30,000 Saudi nationals in AI skills by 2030.
