Consumer electronics manufacturer Nothing has launched its first retail store in India, marking a significant expansion in what it considers its largest market. The two-story outlet has been opened in central Bengaluru, according to a report by TechCrunch.

Co-founder and CEO Carl Pei said the initiative aims to offer customers an immersive brand experience, showcasing product displays, manufacturing stages, and testing processes. In addition to purchasing products, customers will also have access to customization options for selected items at the store.

Alongside Nothing-branded products, devices from its budget-focused sub-brand CMF by Nothing will also be available at the outlet. CMF operates in collaboration with India-based design and manufacturing partner Optimus.

According to market research firm International Data Corporation (IDC), Nothing currently holds more than a 2 percent market share in India. The company’s shipments grew by 85 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of last year.

Meanwhile, Apple has also been expanding its experiential retail presence in India. Nothing has further revealed plans to open additional retail outlets in Tokyo and New York in the future.
