Ayna Alliance: All-Bangladeshi OTT to Air Football League Live
After a 22-day break, the Bangladesh Football League resumes on Sunday, October 19. Even for those unable to attend matches at the stadium, football fans will now be able to enjoy the action live through Ayna—a fully Bangladeshi OTT streaming platform rooted in the country’s cultural heritage.
As the official streaming partner of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), Ayna will broadcast all league matches live for netizens across multiple platforms. The BFF announced the partnership on its official Facebook page on Saturday, October 18.
According to a promotional photo card shared by the federation, viewers will be able to enjoy uninterrupted live coverage via Ayna OTT streaming, accessible through the BFF’s website, Facebook page, Twitter, and YouTube channels.
Sources confirmed that Ayna OTT has become the official streaming partner for both the Bangladesh Football League and the Federation Cup 2025–26. Consequently, all three matches scheduled for Sunday will kick off at 2:45 pm. Among them, the match between Rahmatganj and Fakirapool will be held for the first time in Manikganj. The two other fixtures include Abahani vs Brothers Union at the Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla, and Police FC vs Mohammedan SC at the Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.
Entering the second round under pressure, the three major clubs face crucial contests — Rahmatganj will meet Youngmen’s Club at the new venue in Manikganj, Brothers Union will face Abahani in Cumilla, and defending champions Mohammedan will take on Police FC in Gazipur.
In previous seasons, league matches were generally held twice a week — on Fridays and Saturdays. However, due to an early-season break this year, fixtures have been extended to other days as well. On Monday, two matches are scheduled: Bashundhara Kings will host Fortis FC on home ground, while PWD will face Arambagh Krira Sangha in Manikganj.
It is worth mentioning that the 2025–26 domestic football season was paused shortly after its commencement due to the national team’s international commitments. The league began on September 26, but after five matches over two days, it was suspended to allow the national squad to prepare for the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
The opening round saw surprising upsets among the top teams — defending champions Mohammedan SC lost 2–0 to Fortis FC, Bashundhara Kings drew 2–2 against newcomers PWD, and Abahani Limited settled for a goalless draw with Rahmatganj.
