Royal Enfield Rolls Out New Colors, New Chapter in Bangladesh
Marking one year of Royal Enfield motorcycles in the Bangladeshi market, IFAD Motors has announced the launch of new variants of the Classic 350 and Meteor 350 models in nine fresh color options.
The announcement was made on Monday, 16 February, at an event titled “The New Chapter Begins” held at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital. The event was attended by IFAD Group Chairman Iftekhar Ahmed; Vice Chairmen Tanveer Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed and Tasfin Ahmed; and Managing Director Riazul Haque Chowdhury. Representatives from various corporate organizations, banks, and motorcycle communities were also present.
At the event, it was announced that the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Royal Enfield Meteor 350 models are being introduced with new colors and enhanced features. Inspired by Bangladesh’s landscapes and landmarks, the Classic 350 now comes in four new shades: Dhaka Amber, Cumilla Black, Rajshahi Red, and Sundarban Green.
Meanwhile, the Meteor 350 will be available in four new feature-based variants—Fireball, Stellar, Aurora, and Supernova—offered in five distinct colors.
To celebrate the one-year milestone, IFAD Motors has also introduced a “Bangladesh Anniversary Edition” of the Classic 350, priced at BDT 448,000.
The Meteor 350 variants—Fireball, Stellar, Aurora, and Supernova—are priced between BDT 486,000 and BDT 523,000. However, to mark the anniversary, a limited number of motorcycles will be offered with a BDT 10,000 discount.
Speaking at the event, IFAD Group Vice Chairman Taskin Ahmed said that within a year of launching Royal Enfield in Bangladesh, the company has built a community of more than 14,000 riding partners. He noted that for the past 25 years, Bangladesh lacked highway-friendly cruising motorcycles. After five years of effort, the brand was finally introduced in the country in 2024.
It was also shared that globally, Royal Enfield sold over one million motorcycles last year, with more than 3,000 sales outlets across 80 countries. In Bangladesh, the brand currently operates around 22 sales centers.
The Meteor 350 now features an assist and slipper clutch, while for the first time, the Fireball series includes dual-channel ABS and rear disc braking.
IFAD Motors has established a Royal Enfield motorcycle assembly plant in Chauddagram, Cumilla, on eight acres of land with an investment of approximately BDT 200 crore. The facility has the capacity to assemble 30,000 motorcycles annually. Except for the engine, other components are assembled locally.
