Asus Amplifies Arsenal with Advanced RTX 50 Gaming Laptops in Bangladesh

Asus Bangladesh has unveiled seven new gaming laptops powered by NVIDIA RTX 50 Series GPUs, spanning across three major lineups in a single night. The launch event, held on Sunday, September 21, at the Gulshan Convention Center in Dhaka, showcased the latest additions to the Republic of Gamers (ROG), TUF, and V Series.

The newly launched models include the ROG Strix Scar 18 (2025), ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16, TUF Gaming A14, A16 and F16, and for the first time in Bangladesh, the V Series V16 (V3607).

Ahead of the unveiling, attendees—including distributors, tech reviewers, gamers, content creators, and media representatives—were given the opportunity to experience the laptops firsthand. Asus Bangladesh’s Country Product Manager Asadur Rahman Saki introduced the lineup, highlighting specifications and announcing prices.

The Asus Gaming V16 (V3607), featuring an Intel Core 5 Series processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU, was presented as a fresh entry into the market. Equipped with a 16-inch 144Hz display and a sleek Turbo Blue design with modern patterns, the laptop is priced at BDT 164,000.

The highlight of the night was the ROG Strix Scar 18 (2025), equipped with the powerful RTX 5090 GPU and an 18-inch display, described as offering “desktop-class performance.” The device is priced at BDT 649,990. Other models in the stylish ROG Zephyrus series—targeting both gamers and content creators—start from BDT 250,000, with the G14 priced at BDT 332,000 and the G16 at BDT 388,000.

Asus also showcased the 2025 versions of the TUF Gaming A14, A16, and F16 models, featuring GPUs up to RTX 5060. These laptops, praised for their durability and performance, were positioned as suitable for both gamers and professionals. The TUF Gaming A14 is priced at BDT 194,000, while the A16 starts at BDT 187,500 and the F16 starts at BDT 170,000.

The event also hosted a panel discussion titled “Indomitable Bangladesh in ROG”, moderated by Rasheduzzaman Razu. Tech reviewer Sohag Mia, female gamer Black Berry, and game caster Nabil Hossain shared insights on the growing power and portability of modern PCs. They noted that while desktops remain powerful, laptops are increasingly favored for story-mode gaming due to convenience, and ROG’s diverse lineup now addresses both entry-level and high-end demands.

The evening concluded with a quiz and stand-up performance. Gamers Bandhan Haldar, Sadat Siddiqui, and Nayeem emerged winners by quickly answering questions on the newly unveiled laptops’ specifications.

Asus highlighted that the new laptops combine graphics, AI-driven features, ray tracing, and DLSS technology to deliver desktop-like performance in portable form, catering not only to gaming but also to design and video editing. Prices range from BDT 164,000 to BDT 649,990, offering a balance between aspiration and affordability.

Expressing optimism, Jasim Uddin Khondkar, Deputy Managing Director of Global Brand, Asus’s local distributor and a publicly listed IT company, stated, “Gaming products are transforming the world. They are now intertwined with creativity. By blending AI, ray tracing, and DLSS, ROG has brought a new generation of laptops. We launched them in Bangladesh immediately after their global release. I believe ROG will play a crucial role in the evolution of tomorrow.”
