Prime Bank launches NFC sticker card ‘TapIn’ with Mastercard

Prime Bank PLC, in collaboration with Mastercard, has introduced a next-generation NFC debit sticker card named ‘TapIn’. The new card was officially unveiled at Prime Tower in the capital on Monday.

The launch event was attended by Prime Bank PLC’s Deputy Managing Director M. Nazim A. Chowdhury, Mastercard’s Country Manager for Bangladesh Syed Mohammad Kamal, along with senior officials from both organizations.

According to the announcement, the ‘TapIn’ sticker card is a slim, secure, and globally accepted payment solution that can be easily attached to smartphones, wallets, or personal items. Customers will be able to enjoy instant tap-and-pay convenience anytime, anywhere.

The card’s compact design makes it highly suitable for everyday use. Powered by NFC-based contactless technology, it enables fast and seamless transactions. Enterprise-grade encryption and digital fraud prevention systems ensure maximum security for every payment. Users will also receive instant transaction notifications and real-time account updates, enhancing financial control and transparency. In addition to global acceptance across POS terminals and online platforms, customers can withdraw cash from Prime Bank ATMs via MyPrime using the sticker card.

Speaking at the event, Prime Bank PLC Deputy Managing Director M. Nazim A.
