UITS and BACCO Bridge Academia and Industry Through MoU

The University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS), a private technology-focused university, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bangladesh Association of Contact Center and Outsourcing (BACCO) to enhance student engagement in the BPO and IT sectors.

The agreement, signed on 22 June at the capital's Senaprangon, was initiated by UITS’s Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). It aims to foster student involvement in professional training, internships, and career development opportunities.

On behalf of UITS, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hasan Bhuiyan signed the agreement, while BACCO President Tanvir Ibrahim represented his organization.

From UITS, Treasurer Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed, Registrar Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, and IQAC Director Engineer Md. Safayet Hossain were present at the signing ceremony. Representing BACCO, Vice President Md. Tanzirul Bashar and Public Relations and Publications Sub-Committee Chairman Md. Mahfuzul Haque Choyon also attended the event.
