Reflecting on the recognition, Shibli remarked, “Global tech leaders including Sir Bill Gates have been predicting the future of AI. In over 20 of my research works, I have demonstrated how AI can become a friend to humanity—almost like a family member in every household of the future. The fact that this has been acknowledged in such a short time on an international stage, and that Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI are now taking it forward, is incredibly fulfilling.”
