Industry experts emphasized the critical need for effective integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and human resources in the modern workplace. Speaking at a seminar in observance of International HR Day 2025, they underscored that AI should be leveraged to enhance professional skills and productivity—not to overpower human agency. Participants advocated for developing prompt-writing proficiency, engaging in AI agent research, and channeling creativity into AI development.

“Using AI doesn’t mean becoming its slave,” remarked one speaker. “Rather, we must train skilled human resources to make AI our servant. Individuals should not be consumed by AI or be used by it.”

The seminar, titled "Humanify AI: Leading Change Together," was hosted on May 20 at the headquarters of Smart Technologies (BD) Limited on Begum Rokeya Sarani in Dhaka. The event gathered HR heads and professionals from over a hundred organizations.

Jointly organized by HR Club Bangladesh and Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, the seminar was moderated by Chowdhury Golam Nur-E-Sani, Head of HR at Smart Technologies.

Distinguished speakers included Mohammad Zahirul Islam, Managing Director of Smart; Dilruba Sharmin Khan, HR Director at Akij Bashir Group; K.M. Ali, former CEO of Partex Group; Zia Uddin Mahmood, Group COO at Creative Business Group; Nazmun Rahim, Deputy Managing Director at BRAC Bank; Fara Nawaz, Senior Manager of HR at Huawei South Asia; and Golam Samdani Don, Chief Inspirational Officer of Don Samdani Facilitation and Consultancy.

The session was presided over by Md. Nazrul Islam, President of HR Club Bangladesh and Chief Human Resource Officer of AB Bank Limited.
