Daraz Bangladesh is strengthening its technology-driven logistics network to accelerate nationwide e-commerce deliveries. Starting August 14, its new ‘Fast Delivery’ service will deliver eligible products faster without any additional cost for customers or sellers. Special product tags and a new search filter will help customers identify products eligible for faster delivery.

On August 12  Wednesday, Daraz Bangladesh said the nationwide service will make online shopping faster, easier and more reliable while supporting the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Bangladesh’s e-commerce sector.

Products carrying the ‘Fast Delivery’ tag will come from sellers that consistently prepare orders properly and dispatch them on time. The tag will help customers identify products that are more likely to be delivered quickly and reliably.

At launch, around 50,000 products across lifestyle, FMCG or groceries, electronics and fashion categories will be available under Fast Delivery. More than 2,500 sellers nationwide have already met the programme’s eligibility standards.

Daraz has further strengthened its nationwide logistics infrastructure to ensure faster deliveries without adding costs for customers or sellers. From August 14, eligible products will feature a dedicated ‘Fast Delivery’ tag and a new search filter. Customers will not have to pay any additional fee, commission or surcharge beyond the regular checkout price for the service.

Daraz Bangladesh Chief Commercial Officer Kamrul Hasan said, “Today’s customers want online shopping to fit seamlessly into their everyday lives. Fast Delivery is an initiative designed to meet that need.”

He said, “This is more than a service improvement. Customers will receive faster and more reliable deliveries, while sellers will be better positioned to compete in Bangladesh’s rapidly growing e-commerce market. By investing in logistics, Daraz is creating opportunities for customers to shop with greater confidence and for sellers to provide better service.”

Noman Ali, a Dhaka-based Daraz seller, said, “With my store qualifying for Fast Delivery, customers can have greater confidence that their orders will arrive quickly. For a small business like mine, that trust is very important. A good delivery experience can encourage a customer to choose your store again the next time they shop.”

Daraz said it continues to invest in technology, logistics and seller capability development as a leading e-commerce platform in Bangladesh. The company aims to make online shopping more accessible, reliable and convenient for millions of customers nationwide.
