Neo PSP Secures Bangladesh Bank License

Leveraging advanced digital financial technology infrastructure, 'Neo PSP Limited', a wholly owned subsidiary of Banglalink Digital Communications Limited, has secured a Payment Service Provider (PSP) license from Bangladesh Bank under Section 5(4) of the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2024. August 11, 2026, Tuesday—the Payment Systems Department-1 of the central bank issued an official circular detailing this authorization.
The directive has been communicated to managing directors and chief executives of all scheduled banks, mobile financial service providers, payment system operators, and payment service providers across the country.
With this regulatory clearance, Neo PSP Limited is authorized to deploy digital payment settlement solutions and online transaction processing services nationwide.
The onboarding of Neo PSP raises the total number of licensed Payment Service Providers in Bangladesh to ten. Previously operating in the sector are iPay Systems, D Money, Recursion Fintech, Green & Red Technologies, Progotii Systems, ABG Technologies, Digital Payments, Sheba Fintech, and Samadhan Services.
