    The Bangladeshi delegation achieved remarkable success at the international stage of the World Invention Competition and Exhibition (WICE) 2026 held in Malaysia. Led by the initiative 'Dreams of Bangladesh' (DoB), all 23 participating Bangladeshi teams secured accolades, bringing home a total of 17 Gold medals, 6 Silver medals, and 5 additional Special Awards.

    The delegation, which traveled from September 19 to 25, 2026, comprised nearly 140 members, including students, teachers, parents, supervisors, and judges. Apart from DoB, the initiative united participants from 34 academic institutions—such as BUET, IBA (University of Dhaka), BRAC University, Jahangirnagar University, MIST, and Dhaka Residential Model College—and 2 other organizations, making it a historic first for a 36-institution coalition representing Bangladesh at WICE. Out of 412 competing teams across 19 countries, 258 teams presented physically in Malaysia. Notably, seven judges from Bangladesh served on the international evaluation panel.

    The Bangladeshi innovations focused heavily on robotics, artificial intelligence, automated systems, environmental conservation, smart agriculture, and bio-degradable solutions. Notable gold-winning projects included Phantom Forge's 'Agri Nexus', The Aura Farmers' 'Climate Adaptive Smart Farming Robot', BOTNIX's 'Borewell Rescue Robot', Quantum Spark's 'Fire Fighting & Rescue Robot', and SYT Innovators' 'AI Military Rover'.

    Environmental and healthcare projects such as Paradox's AI-driven waste cleaning robot, Pharmagradable's eco-friendly medicine packaging, and RayShield's solar-powered mosquito repellent system also bagged top honors. Gold medals were also awarded to EcoGuard, Bio_Logik, TerraFusion, FireGuard i.0, Innertia, EcoNexus, and Eco Warriors, while InnovAid, SolarEffix, Quantis, Revel, RoboBee Innovators, and Noor Aero Next BD secured Silver medals. This global triumph highlights the rising technical prowess and research potential of Bangladesh's youth on the international stage.
