Ansar Members Recover Lost Laptops, Passport at Dhaka Airport
- Two laptops, a passport and important documents were recovered from a bag found on a trolley at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
- Ansar members identified the owner as Rakibul Islam, who had arrived from China on BG-367, using information from his passport.

Ansar members at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport have recovered two laptops, a passport and important documents belonging to a passenger and returned them to their rightful owner.
According to a press release issued by the Ansar force, its members found a bag lying on a trolley while performing duty in the airport’s Canopy-2 area at around 7:15am on Saturday.
The members took the bag into their custody and searched it, finding two laptops, a passport and several important documents.
After checking the passport details, they identified the owner as Md Rakibul Islam, a passenger who had arrived from China on BG-367.
The matter was reported to shift-in-charge PC Md Nizam Uddin, who initiated efforts to locate the owner through public announcements and other means. The Ansar members also contacted Rakibul Islam by phone using the information available in his passport.
After receiving the information, Rakibul arrived at the Canopy-2 area of the airport. He was subsequently taken to the Duty Security Officer’s office, where his identity and relevant documents were verified.
Following the verification process, Rakibul was confirmed as the rightful owner of the recovered belongings.
In the presence of senior officials, two laptops, a passport and other important documents, with an estimated total value of Tk 400,000, were formally handed over to him.
Rakibul had been worried after losing his bag containing the valuable laptops, passport and essential documents. After receiving all the items intact, he expressed gratitude and praised the Ansar members for their honesty, humanity and sense of responsibility.
