Bangladesh Sends Multifaceted Delegation to Estonia for Global Digital Identity Study Tour

To accelerate the country’s digital transformation and refine its citizen identity framework, a well-rounded 15-member delegation of Bangladesh government officials is set to visit Tallinn, Estonia this coming August. The officials will participate in a international study tour titled "Identity Management and One-ID Principle in Digital Government," scheduled from August 10 to August 13, 2026 (with travel days on August 9 and 14).

The 4-day intensive study tour program is fully funded by the European Commission under the "E-ffective Governance" project. It is organized by the world-renowned e-Governance Academy (eGA) of Estonia, in a tripartite consortium partnership with the Cabinet Division, the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division of Bangladesh, and the British Council.
