Production house G Series is set to release a new drama titled  Sat Din (Seven Days) ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. The family comedy drama will premiere on the official YouTube channel of G Series.

The drama is written by Apurno Rubel and directed by Pathik Sadhan.

The cast includes Sharaf Ahmed Jibon, Ria Ghosh, Rubaowa Esha, Indrani Nishi, Khorsheda Alam Nitu, Saiful Islam Shamim, Sheikh Selim, and Surgh, among others.

According to the production team, the story revolves around the life of a couple named Rakib and Shampa. Since their marriage was based on love, the couple had found it difficult to stay apart for long after their wedding. Even after four years of marriage, the intimacy and closeness in their relationship remain unchanged.

At one point in the story, Rakib begins to feel that he needs some personal time of his own. Around the same time, Shampa plans to visit her elder sister’s house for seven days. Although Rakib pretends to feel sad on the outside, he is secretly delighted, as he plans to spend the time living life on his own terms.

Rakib then begins to make various plans for his seven days—sometimes sleeping away the time, sometimes planning to meet an old girlfriend, and sometimes attempting to spend time with an office colleague. However, each of his plans fails one after another due to unexpected events.

An old lover suddenly appearing with her husband, an embarrassing situation with a colleague, losing money in gambling, or a travel plan with a friend getting ruined—all these incidents turn Rakib’s so-called “independent” seven days into a series of humorous misadventures.

Toward the end of the drama, Rakib is even detained by the police due to an incident. Upon hearing the news, his wife Shampa arrives at the police station. What happens afterward, and how those seven days ultimately change Rakib’s life, form the central narrative of the drama.
