Robi CEO Ziad Shatara Meets BIDA Chief to Strengthen Investment Collaboration
Robi Axiata Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Ziad Shatara paid a courtesy call on Ashik Chowdhury, Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA).
This was Ziad Shatara’s first such meeting since assuming office as Robi’s MD and CEO. The discussion emphasized strengthening public–private sector collaboration and reinforcing a shared commitment to improving Bangladesh’s overall investment climate.
During the meeting, Ziad Shatara outlined Robi’s strategic priorities and long-term investment plans in Bangladesh. He reiterated the company’s strong commitment to sustainable growth, expanding digital connectivity, and contributing meaningfully to the country’s broader national development goals.
He also expressed sincere appreciation for the continued support and constructive cooperation extended by Executive Chairman Ashik Chowdhury.
Robi’s Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer, Sahed Alam, and Director, Public Affairs and Sustainability, Sharif Shah Jamal Raj, were also present at the meeting.
