Meta Moves to Expand Board with MacCormick and Collison

Meta Platforms is set to add two new members to its board of directors—Dina Powell McCormick and Stripe CEO Patrick Collison—effective April 15, the company announced in a regulatory filing on Friday, according to Reuters.
Dina Powell McCormick brings 16 years of leadership experience from Goldman Sachs and has served as Deputy National Security Advisor under the Trump administration. She also held the position of Assistant Secretary of State during the presidency of George W. Bush.
Patrick Collison, who co-founded the fintech firm Stripe in 2010, has previously advised Meta’s internal technology and product development group.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated, “Patrick is committed to expanding economic opportunity, and Dina has worked for many years to support entrepreneurs.”
With the addition of McCormick and Collison, the total number of members on Meta’s board will increase to 15.
