Rotary Club of Dhaka North West Hosts Vocational Excellence Awards 2025

The Rotary Club of Dhaka North West successfully organized the "Rotary Vocational Excellence Award – 2025" in the capital, Dhaka, honoring five distinguished individuals for their remarkable contributions in various fields.

Arian Arif, founder of "Mojar School", was awarded for his efforts in child education and literacy, while Touhida Shiropa, founder and CEO of "Moner Bondhu", received recognition for her significant contributions to the mental health sector. Ayan Muminul Haque, founder of "Save Sylhet" and "Startup Sylhet", was honored in the Community Development category. Dr. Kashfia Ahmed, a veteran agricultural scientist, received recognition for her contributions to environment and agriculture, while Setaur Rahman, a renowned female football coach from Kansat, Chapainawabganj, was honored in the Sports and Peace category.

The prestigious event was attended by Arjuda Rahman, President of Rotary Dhaka North West, along with Immediate Past President (IPP) Ilmul Haque Sojib, President-Elect Engineer Abdur Rahim, President Nominee Azadul Haque, IPP Laila Rozy, and several past presidents, board members, and general members of the club.

The ceremony was presided over by Professor M. A. Bari, IPP of Rotary Dhaka North West, with Joint Secretary Muhammad Altamish Nabil serving as Vice Chair and event coordinator. Additionally, IPP Russell Jasimuddin and Sergeant-at-Arms Shahed Sad Ullah played key roles in organizing the event.

Members of Rotary Dhaka North West expressed their optimism that this initiative will further enhance the club’s philanthropic and community-driven endeavors. The event was attended by club members, board executives, and distinguished guests from other Rotary clubs.
