Noakhali, Monday (28 September): Advancing generative AI integration, prompt engineering frameworks, and machine learning models for tomorrow's workplace, Aspire to Innovate (a2i) and Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) have launched a specialized two-day artificial intelligence training program. Designed for 140 fourth-year undergraduate and postgraduate students across four batches, the initiative aims to bridge academic concepts with real-world technological applications.
The inaugural session was held today, Monday (28 September), with NSTU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Golam Rabbani in the chair. a2i Project Director (Additional Charge) and Additional Secretary Muhammad Anwar Uddin, along with Head of Programme Management Sams Ul Arefin Khan, attended as distinguished guests. The session was moderated by a2i Future of Work Team Lead Salahuddin Mohammad Uzzal.
Notable attendees included Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Mohammad Safiqul Islam, Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Hasan Uddin, IQAC Director Professor Dr. Ashadun Nobi, ICE Department Associate Professor Dr. Md. Masudur Rahman, a2i Chief Technical Advisor Mohammad Masudur Rahman, Head of Communications Mohammad Safiul Azam, and National Cyber Security Agency Assistant Director M. Niaz Mohammad Nazmul Huda Mithu, among other officials.
In his presidential address, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Golam Rabbani emphasized integrating AI into academic and professional workflows to match global standards, while cautioning against plagiarism to maintain research ethics. a2i Project Director Muhammad Anwar Uddin highlighted that rapid technological shifts necessitate practical AI education in higher education institutions.
Sams Ul Arefin Khan noted that traditional academic degrees alone will no longer suffice in modern job markets. The practical modules cover prompt engineering, CV and cover letter drafting, mock job interviews, information verification, presentation design, and "vibe coding." Additionally, the sessions cover data privacy frameworks, AI bias mitigation, and technological limitations. Participants will receive professional certifications upon successful completion.
