HSTU to Reissue Revised Results for B Unit’s Third Shift Admission Test

Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) has decided to reissue the results of the third shift of the B Unit admission test for the 2024–25 undergraduate academic session following concerns raised by candidates.
The decision was confirmed on Sunday (May 11) by Dr. Hasan Fuad El Taj, convener of the university’s admission test committee. “B3 results have been corrected and input adjustments have been made. Currently, all results are being rechecked. Once the verification process is complete, the revised results will be published,” he said.
Earlier, admission seekers had expressed dissatisfaction over the B3 results, alleging that they had received unexpectedly negative marks. Many deemed such results unusual and suspected errors in the evaluation. They demanded a review and re-evaluation of the published outcomes.
The admission tests were held from Monday (May 5) to Wednesday (May 7), and the results were published on the university’s website on Saturday (May 10).
This year, a total of 72,984 candidates took part in the admission tests across various units of HSTU. Among them, 25,403 appeared for the A Unit, 22,293 for the B Unit, 2,394 in the commerce stream of C Unit, 4,456 in the science and humanities stream of the same unit, and another 18,438 in a separate stream.
