On Sunday, August 23, 2026, global cybersecurity firm Kaspersky received recognition from research and consulting firm Frost and Sullivan for its capability in building unified Operational Technology (OT) security systems aligned with changing industrial needs. The award highlights Kaspersky's industry-specific technology, local deployment capability, and integrated platform strategy.

Tetsuya Nihara, Director at Frost and Sullivan, stated that Kaspersky adopted a platform-based strategy over isolated security features. It is claimed that combining endpoint protection, anomaly detection, secure remote access, and central management improves overall operational efficiency.

The Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity (KICS) framework incorporates endpoint protection, network monitoring, and AI-driven tools. Adrian Hia, Managing Director of Kaspersky APAC, stated that Kaspersky aims to make enterprise-grade protection accessible across APAC through certified partner ecosystems, noting the award reflects growing regional trust.

Rajarshi Dhar, Associate Director of Security Advisory Practice at Frost and Sullivan, noted that Kaspersky integrates full OT protection without disrupting business operations. Combining KICS with broader IT security capabilities allows organizations to assess unified risks across previously isolated domains.
