Leading ICT solutions provider Express Systems Limited (ESL) has launched a hands-on training lab titled ‘CSL Classroom’ as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to help develop industry-ready technology professionals in Bangladesh.

The training facility will provide practical instruction on modern networking and emerging technologies, with 24 trainees enrolled in each batch, according to ESL Chairman Abdul Fattah, who made the announcement at an event held recently in Gulshan, Dhaka.

Fattah said the initiative aims to bridge the country's growing skills gap in the ICT sector by preparing professionals based on industry demand.

He noted that Bangladesh continues to face a shortage of qualified technology professionals, particularly in pre-sales and post-sales engineering roles. Many engineers trained by ESL are now working for multinational companies, highlighting the need for greater investment in local talent development.

The company said it currently employs more than 250 Cisco-certified engineers and technology specialists, has completed over 1,000 strategic projects, and serves more than 500 clients across government, banking and financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, healthcare, education and corporate sectors.

The announcement was made during a ceremony celebrating ESL's achievement of the prestigious 'Cisco Partner of the Year FY25 – Bangladesh' award, presented at the Cisco India and South Asia Partner Confluence 2026.

According to the company, ESL has been a trusted Cisco partner in Bangladesh since beginning its collaboration in 2012. Over the past decade and a half, it has delivered advanced networking, cybersecurity, collaboration, data centre and cloud solutions for both public and private sector organisations.

Speaking at the event, Cisco Bangladesh Country Director Atikur Rahman said ESL had started working with Cisco technologies even before Cisco formally launched operations in Bangladesh.

He added that ESL has become the first company in Bangladesh to achieve Cisco's Preferred Partner recognition across the Networking, Security and Collaboration portfolios, reflecting its technical excellence, service quality and ability to deliver world-class technology solutions.

Among others present at the event were ESL Deputy Managing Director Alam Bir Hossain, Cisco India & SAARC Partner Sales–Channel Sales Leader Anwar Halim, Regional Manager (Channel Partner Technical) Murali Mohan, and Regional Manager (Channel Distribution) Navneet Radhakrishnan.
