AI 'Actress' Tilly Norwood to Star in Her First Feature Film
Controversial Hollywood AI 'actress' Tilly Norwood is set to debut in her first feature film, 'Misaligned,' a hybrid comedy-drama produced by Particle 6 studio.
Tilly Norwood, one of the most talked-about virtual faces triggering the Artificial Intelligence (AI) debate in Hollywood, is set to star in her first full-length feature film despite having no real-world existence. AI-based studio Particle 6, the creator of Tilly, has officially announced the production of the film titled "Misaligned." According to the creators, the movie is a comedy-drama that blends a coming-of-age story with existential crises and the surreal realm of AI.
The plot revolves around the "Tillyverse," a surreal digital world located somewhere in the cloud where Tilly resides. Lacking a physical body or personal life experiences, the story takes a sharp turn when a mysterious AI bot from the dark web induces her to break her security "guardrails," sparking human-like desires, emotions, and ambitions within her. Particle 6 clarified that "Misaligned" will not be generated entirely by AI; instead, it will be a hybrid production where veteran film directors, scriptwriters, and editors collaborate alongside AI specialists.
Elaine van der Velden, founder and CEO of Particle 6, stated, "AI can assist in high-quality storytelling, but it requires an immense amount of human skill, experience, judgment, and time." Notably, Tilly Norwood became the center of controversy late last year when plans to sign her with a talent agency sparked fierce backlash from Hollywood actors' unions and filmmakers over the encroachment of AI in creative sectors. Currently, "Misaligned" is in its initial development phase, promising to address deep-seated human anxieties surrounding identity, performance, and artificial intelligence.
