Leaked Dummy Images Reveal Apple’s First Foldable iPhone

Apple's rumored first foldable iPhone is once again dominating discussions across the technology industry as the company is widely expected to unveil the device alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series this September. New dummy images of the highly anticipated handset—reportedly to be branded as the iPhone Ultra—have now surfaced online, offering the clearest look yet at its design. While previous leaks hinted at the device's appearance, this is the first time it has been seen in a striking black finish.

The leaked images show a foldable phone with a noticeably wider display, resembling the form factor of Huawei's latest foldable smartphones. According to the leaked specifications, the iPhone Ultra will be as slim as Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold7 when folded, measuring just 4.5 mm thick when fully unfolded.

The rear panel features an oval-shaped camera module housing a dual-camera system.

When unfolded, the device's wide display gives it an appearance similar to a compact iPad mini. The internal display includes a hole-punch cutout positioned in the upper-left corner for the front-facing camera, while the external cover display features a centrally aligned hole-punch selfie camera.

The leaked design also indicates that the volume buttons are positioned along the upper side of the device, while the power button is mounted on the side frame. A dedicated camera control button appears directly beneath the power button, providing quick access to photography functions.

According to industry rumors, the iPhone Ultra will be powered by Apple's upcoming A20 Pro chipset and equipped with 12 GB of RAM. The cover display is expected to measure 5.49 inches, while the main foldable internal display could feature a 7.76-inch panel.

Apple is widely expected to officially unveil the iPhone Ultra, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, during its anticipated product launch event on September 8.
