Nationalist ICT Forum Approves Constitution, Announces 101-Member Executive Committee

The Nationalist ICT Forum (NICTF) has formally approved its constitution and announced a new 101-member executive committee.

The decision was made at an emergency general meeting held on Monday, June 29, at the auditorium of Club Notre Damians Bangladesh Limited in Banani, Dhaka.

During the meeting, members discussed the organization's ongoing activities, measures to strengthen its organizational structure, and future strategic plans. The constitution was unanimously approved by the members, formally establishing the organization's governing framework.

Following the approval, the existing committee was restructured. Under the newly formed committee, Professor Dr. Shah J. Mia was appointed Acting President, Rowshan Kamal James was elected General Secretary, Riyad Hasnain became Joint General Secretary, and Engineer Mohammad Jewel was named Organizing Secretary.

A full 101-member committee was also announced. According to the organization, the new committee will broaden the participation of ICT professionals, entrepreneurs, and technology experts while making its organizational activities more dynamic and effective.

The meeting also decided to open membership registration for general members. As a result, ICT professionals, entrepreneurs, technologists, and other interested individuals will be able to join the organization.

Speakers at the meeting said the forum will continue working to promote the development of Bangladesh's information and communication technology sector, safeguard the interests of ICT professionals, participate in policy discussions, and contribute to building a technology-driven Bangladesh.
