Mirza Fakhrul Shares on Facebook for Political Harmony After Eid Meeting with Jamaat Leader
Following the Eid-ul-Adha prayers in Thakurgaon, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir shared photos on social media showing a cordial meeting and Eid greetings exchange with local Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delowar Hossain. Alongside the images, he called for political harmony and national unity.
In a post published on his verified Facebook page on Friday, May 29, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir wrote, “Let us forget all discrimination and divisions and work together for the welfare of the country and its people.”
In the post, he mentioned that he had a courtesy meeting with Delowar Hossain after the Eid prayers. He described the occasion as a unique example of harmony and goodwill in the political landscape of Thakurgaon.
The BNP Secretary General further wrote, “May this message of mutual respect, empathy and political civility spread everywhere.”
