FuelFlow Goes Digital: Rajshahi Launches Mobile App for Transparent Fuel Management
Rajshahi, a divisional city, has taken another step forward on the path to building a “Smart Bangladesh” with the launch of a Fuel Management mobile app aimed at transforming fuel supply and management systems while ensuring transparency.
The app was officially inaugurated on Sunday, 12 April, at around 9:00 am at Gul Gofur Petroleum Oil Pump in the city by Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner Kazi Shahidul Islam.
Whole speaking as the chief guest, he said, “We have developed a fuel management system. Those who are receiving fuel today will not be supplied again for the next five days. We have no issues with diesel supply. We are issuing diesel cards. Our mobile courts are active.”
He further added, “This app will serve as a milestone in modernizing the fuel sector and ensuring customer service. Through this, fuel distribution rules will become transparent, and digital monitoring will help prevent irregularities.”
Rajshahi Additional Deputy Commissioner Md. Sabur Ali, officials of the district administration, leaders of the fuel merchant association, and other concerned persons were present at the launching program among others.
