DIA Publishes Inspection and Audit Reports of 973 Educational Institutions
The Directorate of Inspection and Audit (DIA) under the Ministry of Education has published the list of the latest inspection and audit reports of 973 educational institutions across the country. The list of inspection, audit, or investigation reports sent from the Directorate of Inspection and Audit to the Secondary and Higher Education Division and the Technical and Madrasa Education Division has been made available on the notice board of the Directorate’s official website.
The information was disclosed in a notice signed by Professor M. M. Shahidul Islam, Director of the Directorate of Inspection and Audit, on Sunday, 1 March.
The published list includes information on institutions inspected and audited between 1 July and 31 December 2025. The reports reveal instances of forged or fake certificates, unacceptable certificates, illegal appointments, embezzlement of funds, and various financial irregularities including VAT and income tax-related issues.
Copies of the reports have been sent to the relevant directorates (Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education / Directorate of Madrasa Education / Directorate of Technical Education), to the respective education boards via the D-Nothi system (and where applicable, to the National University / Islamic Arabic University addressed to the Registrar via email), to the respective District Education Offices through the D-Nothi system, and to the President (Managing Committee/Governing Body) and the head of the educational institution via email (to the respective institutional email addresses provided in the BANBEIS survey).
The notice further states that if any educational institution listed does not receive its report through the relevant email, it may collect the report by contacting its respective District Education Office and downloading it from the District Education Office’s D-Nothi system.
Additionally, if it is not possible to obtain the report from the District Education Office, the educational institution must submit an application on its official letterhead addressed to the Director, Directorate of Inspection and Audit, requesting the report, and send a copy of the application to director@dia.gov.bd via email.
Upon receiving the email application, the Directorate will resend the report to the concerned institution’s email within the next three working days. If necessary, contact may be made by telephone at 0241053347.
