Mobile operator Banglalink is distributing iftar by setting up kiosks at 120 important transit points across the country. The operator confirmed on Monday, February 23, that the initiative, which began on the first day of Ramadan, will continue daily throughout the holy month.

Every day, just before iftar, these kiosks—installed at bus terminals, railway stations, launch terminals, and airport entrances—are distributing iftar items among pedestrians and travelers. It has been reported that the pressure of distribution is higher at busy hubs such as Mahakhali Bus Terminal, Kamalapur Railway Station, Sayedabad Bus Terminal, Chattogram Railway Station, and Cox’s Bazar Bus Stand.

Speaking about the initiative, Banglalink Chief Marketing Officer Kazi Mahbub Hasan said, “As a ‘People First’ operator, we value the everyday realities of people’s lives. This initiative of handing iftar items to fasting individuals on the move is part of that commitment. Although it may seem small at first glance, it is a meaningful effort. Alongside ensuring connectivity, our goal is to stand beside people in the real moments of their lives with sincerity, respect, and empathy.”
