With offers and discounts taking centre stage, the Digital Device & Innovation Expo turned even more vibrant on its final day, Saturday, January 31, coinciding with the second weekly holiday. Held at the Bangabandhu–China Friendship Conference Centre in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, the exhibition witnessed heightened energy among both buyers and sellers on its concluding day. To make the most of the last opportunity, most participating companies announced maximum discounts and attractive giveaways on their products.
Although the formal closing ceremony was held on Friday evening, January 30, the four-day expo was scheduled to draw its curtains at 9:00 pm on Saturday, amid sustained enthusiasm from visitors and exhibitors alike.
Due to strong buyer interest, several brands significantly reduced product prices for branding and customer outreach. Among the standout offers of the day, Tecno’s Camon 30 Premium smartphone was available with discounts of up to BDT 20,000. In addition, discounts on all Tecno smartphones were increased to up to 10 percent, along with guaranteed gifts worth BDT 1,000 to BDT 5,000. Symphony also offered 6–7 percent discounts on its Helio series smartphones, with brand-wise gifts such as mugs, T-shirts, and key rings. Honor phones, too, came with assorted gifts including neckbands, mugs, and T-shirts.
In the laptop and computing segment, Acer announced discounts across several products, offering free monitors with its gaming laptops and special gift boxes for premium-segment devices. SevenTech increased discounts on its Redragon mechanical keyboards from 10 percent to as high as 30 percent. Global brand Lexar raised discounts on memory devices from 5 percent to 10 percent, while Philips offered discounts of up to BDT 10,000 on monitors, along with complimentary T-shirts.
Among other devices, Smart brand Ricoh production printers were offered with discounts of up to BDT 100,000. Discounts of up to BDT 10,000 were available on IM series printers, while M series printers saw price cuts of up to BDT 5,000. TechTime offered discounts of up to 50 percent on power banks under its RACE brand, stating that the expo was aimed at reaching a wider consumer base.
Additionally, Oraimo increased discounts on its gadgets to up to 20 percent. DX Group raised discounts on its Ima e-bikes to 7.5 percent, while global brand Blissband offered up to 15 percent discounts on its gadgets. Notably, the Boyata brand stood out with discounts of up to 30 percent, along with giveaways and raffle draw announcements for followers and likers of its Facebook page.
With aggressive pricing, bundled gifts, and festive crowds, the final day of the Digital Device & Innovation Expo wrapped up on a high note—leaving both consumers and brands satisfied with a bustling close to the four-day technology showcase.
