Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb Mourns Passing of Telecom Division Employee Mamata Zaman

Mamata Zaman Antra, an Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist of the Posts and Telecommunications Division, has passed away (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un).

Expressing deep sorrow over her death, Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser in charge of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, and Abdul Naser Khan, Secretary of the Posts and Telecommunications Division, conveyed their condolences. They extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

In a condolence message, Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb said that Mamata Zaman Antra had carried out her duties with sincerity and integrity since joining the Posts and Telecommunications Division. Her death, he noted, is a significant loss for the division, which has lost a dedicated employee.

In a separate message, Secretary Abdul Naser Khan described Mamata Zaman Antra as a dutiful, humble, and responsible colleague. He added that her passing has caused an irreparable loss to the Posts and Telecommunications Division.

Mamata Zaman Antra passed away at 3:50 pm on Monday, December 22, while undergoing treatment at the Bangladesh Government Employees Hospital.
