Participants submitted their projects in three levels—Primary, Secondary, and Higher Secondary. The judging panel included 36 faculty members from the Departments of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Computing and Information Systems (CIS), and Software Engineering at Daffodil International University.

Earlier in the day, the Olympiad was inaugurated at 9:00 am by the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman.

Delivering his keynote address at the closing ceremony, ICT Secretary Shish Haider Chowdhury remarked, “Artificial intelligence is not merely a technology, it is a tool for nation-building. This Olympiad will guide our younger generation towards mastering that tool.”

He further stated, “The ICT Division is tirelessly working on the advancement of this technology and will continue to extend direct support for similar Olympiads in the future.”

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of Daffodil Family, said, “There is an intrinsic connection between technology and the new generation. With their involvement, the growth of technology in Bangladesh will remain uninterrupted.” He urged participants to transform themselves into entrepreneurs through continuous innovation.

He added, “The preparation for this Olympiad has been a transformative journey. We didn’t just organize an event; we created a national platform where young minds in Bangladesh could showcase their skills and creativity in AI. Through this, they have practiced applying technology to solve real-world problems.”

“This initiative has laid the foundation for a national awareness and enthusiasm about AI, which will underpin the country’s future tech-driven economy,” he concluded.
