US to Allow Conditional Export of Nvidia H200 Chips, Says President Trump
US President Donald Trump has announced that the United States will allow conditional exports of Nvidia’s H200 chips to approved customers in China and other countries, according to a report by Reuters.
Trump stated that the decision will be implemented while maintaining national security priorities. The US Department of Commerce is currently finalising the detailed policy guidelines.
He further noted that similar export rules will apply to other American chipmakers, including AMD and Intel.
According to Trump, exporters will be required to pay a “25% fee to the United States” for such shipments. He recently shared this information in a post on the Truth Social platform.
