SmartBuild Showcases AI-Powered River Monitoring at UN Summit

Smart Build Bangladesh is working to transform the country's rivers into safe sources of water through artificial intelligence (AI). As part of this initiative, the local startup has partnered with Swiss technology firm AIvolve to develop and pilot an AI agent called Water Molecule AI Agent for river pollution surveillance and water quality testing.

The startup now aims to connect all major rivers in Bangladesh with its AI-powered IoT devices using satellite-based technologies. In line with this, Smart Build is also working to develop one million AI leaders within the country.

On Monday, July 7, Smart Build Bangladesh presented its mission at the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland. Organized by the United Nations' ITU, the four-day event focuses on advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals through AI. The Bangladeshi team showcased the complete journey of their eco-friendly AI agent through a poster presentation and video demonstration.

Representing Bangladesh at the event under the banner "AI Begins With Me," Md. Raonok Bin Rouf, Co-founder of Smart Build Bangladesh, is leading the delegation. He is joined by their global partner AIvolve’s leadership, including Dynamics Co-founder Tina Leiber and CEO Frank Leiber.
