Salesforce Shifts to AI, CEO Calls It a “Digital Labor Revolution”

Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff has revealed that artificial intelligence (AI) is now handling approximately 30 to 50 percent of the company’s operations. In a recent interview with Bloomberg, he stated, "We all have to accept that AI is doing work that people used to do, and we can now focus on higher-value tasks."

Following significant layoffs and organizational restructuring, Salesforce has ramped up its AI-driven activities. The move aims to cut costs, increase productivity, and adapt to the evolving nature of the labor market.

Benioff described the transformation as a “digital labor revolution,” further noting that Salesforce’s AI systems have reached an accuracy rate of around 93 percent.

However, this transition has also intensified concerns about declining job opportunities in the tech sector. Experts warn that AI could eliminate nearly 50 percent of entry-level white-collar jobs over the next five years.
