DIMHUM Debuts Crowdshipping Service on US-Bangladesh Route

New York-based startup DIMHUM has formally launched its innovative crowdshipping service on the United States–Bangladesh route. Founded by a team of Bangladeshi entrepreneurs, the company aims to expand its services to over 150 countries, including Canada and India, within the next 18 months.

Speaking about the platform, DIMHUM’s Co-founder and CEO Mohammad Mehedi Hasan said, “DIMHUM is not just a courier service—it is a bridge of hearts between expatriates and locals. Our goal is to use technology to bring people closer across the globe. That’s why DIMHUM is not just an app—it is a global network of trust, connection, and empathy.”

Explaining how the platform works, he said that senders post delivery requests through the mobile app or website. Travelers then accept the requests based on their travel routes and hand-deliver the items. To ensure safety, ID verification is done through Plaid and payment security is managed through Stripe.

DIMHUM is a tech-based platform that connects travelers and senders for the personal delivery of items. Whether one wishes to send gifts, clothing, laptops, OTC medicines, or important documents, the platform links them with a verified traveler heading to the same destination. The service promises global coverage with ongoing route expansion, lower costs compared to traditional couriers, time efficiency through traveler-assisted delivery, and secure transactions with verified travelers.
