AI Awareness Amplified: Public Science Lecture to Explore Present and Future of Artificial Intelligence
A science lecture titled “AI Decoded: Artificial Intelligence and Our Present and Future” is set to take place on Thursday, 26 June at the Bangla Academy’s Bishwo Shahitto Kendro in Banglamotor, Dhaka. The event will run from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and is expected to draw a curious and engaged audience.
The session will feature an open floor for audience questions, allowing attendees to interact directly with the speakers. Additionally, a special quiz competition will be held for the audience, with exclusive prizes awaiting the winners.
Prominent figures in the field of artificial intelligence will serve as speakers at the event. Professor B M Mainul Hossain, team leader of the Bangladesh AI Olympiad team and Director of the Institute of Information Technology at the University of Dhaka, will address the session alongside Mohammad Oli Ahad, founder of Intelligent Machines Limited and Dhaka AI Lab.
The event will also welcome distinguished guests including Professor Arshad Momen, a theoretical physicist from the Department of Physical Sciences at Independent University, Bangladesh, and Abdul Quayum, editor of Biggan Chinta, a leading science publication.
The lecture aims to foster greater public understanding of artificial intelligence, its impact on daily life, and the trajectory of its development into the future.
