CMV Curates Colorful Collection of Eid Dramas

This Eid, CMV is set to release a total of 12 television dramas and a short film under its banner, featuring an ensemble of the most popular actors in the Bangladeshi entertainment industry. The lineup includes titles such as Bhalo Theko, Chupkotha, Tobu-o Mon, 42, Megher Bari Jabo, Fulpur Bridge, Chilekothar Badshah, Ek Bag Taka, Love You Teacher, Mon Monjil, Ashiqui, and the short film Chhaya.
The release of these Eid specials will begin on Chaand Raat and continue over the festive week on CMV's official YouTube channel. The cast list boasts beloved stars such as Apurba, Mehazabien, Afran Nisho, Tanjin Tisha, Jovan, Tawsif Mahbub, Toya, Nadia Ahmed, Irfan Sajjad, Safa Kabir, Akhomo Hasan, Naznin Niha, Totini, and Yash Rohan, among others.
CMV confirmed that the dramas will be released sequentially throughout Eid. Among them is Khuji Tomay, directed by Sajjad Sunny and starring Afran Nisho and Tanjin Tisha. Tumi Bhalo Theko, directed by Mehedi Hasan Johnny, features Tawsif Mahbub and Safa Kabir.
Jovan and Toya appear in 42, directed by Raisul Tamal. Apurba and Mehazabien star in Megher Bari Jabo, directed by BU Shuvo. Sajib Mahmud’s Fulpur Bridge features Irfan Sajjad and Safa Kabir, while Chilekothar Badshah, starring Jovan and Sharlin Farzana, is directed by Ehsanul Haque.
Ek Bag Taka, directed by Sajib Chishti, stars Akhomo Hasan and Nadia. Mon Monjil is both written and directed by Hasib Hossain Rakhi. Bhalo Theko, based on a screenplay by Kanti Bhushan Torofdar, is directed by Imraul Rafat. Tobu-o Mon, based on an original story by Kinkor Ahsan, was scripted by Rabbi Hossain, Manjulul Haque, and Nahid Ahsan, with direction by Abul Khayer Chand.
In addition to the dramas, CMV will also release a short film titled Chhaya, directed by Vicky Zahed and starring Jovan and Moon.
CMV’s managing director SK Shahed Ali Pappu stated, “We will release these productions throughout the seven days of Eid. Our aim is to provide audiences with meaningful entertainment through both quality Bangla music and diverse dramas that enrich their festive experience.”
