Samsung Sparks Speculation with “Next Chapter of Ultra” Teaser
Samsung has ignited excitement among tech enthusiasts by releasing an animated teaser titled “Next Chapter of Ultra” in a recent blog post. The animation features a phone folding and unfolding, hinting at the imminent arrival of a new and advanced model in the Galaxy Z Fold series — potentially named the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, according to a report by Engadget.
The blog post suggests that users will be able to send messages to friends or search for restaurants using voice commands even while the device is folded. Similarly, activities like composing emails, playing games, or capturing photos will also be possible without unfolding the device. Once unfolded, the phone is expected to transform into a full-fledged tool for entertainment or productivity.
Samsung further noted that its new Galaxy AI features will be "specially optimized for the foldable format." While earlier rumors pointed to a possible tri-fold design, the teaser does not include any such depiction.
It remains to be seen whether the introduction of this Ultra variant will lead to a price drop for the standard Z Fold or whether the new device will push the premium pricing boundary even further.
