Automobile enthusiasts and stakeholders in the automotive industry gathered under one roof as the three-day 18th Dhaka Motor Show 2025 and 9th Dhaka Bike Show 2025 officially commenced. The joint exhibition brings together over 175 companies from 17 countries including Japan, India, China, Malaysia, and South Korea, across more than 600 booths—making it the largest and most established international automotive event in Bangladesh for the past 17 years.
The exhibition is being hosted at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), where Hall 1 features commercial automotive displays, Hall 2 showcases two-wheelers, while Halls 3 and 4 are dedicated to four-wheelers. All four halls include displays of auto parts, aftermarket accessories, lubricants, and products from international brands of cars, bikes, commercial and electric vehicles.
Among the automotive brands showcasing their latest models are Mitsubishi, Honda, MG, Proton, Changan, Suzuki, GAC Motors, Dongfeng, and Dipal. Two-wheeler brands participating in the exhibition include Bajaj, Speedoz, Dongjin Group, and Salida EV. The exhibition features motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, light electric vehicles, and associated components in the two-wheeler segment.
The Dhaka Motor and Bike Show will remain open to visitors daily from morning until 8 PM, concluding on May 3.
The exhibition was inaugurated on Thursday, May 1, at the ICCB by Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director of SEMS Global USA and Asia Pacific. Also present were SEMS Global CEO S. S. Sarwar, Executive Director Tanvir Kamrul Islam, and exhibitors from various participating companies.
At the opening ceremony, the organizers stated, “The Dhaka Motor Show, under the Auto Series of Exhibitions, has been successfully organized in Bangladesh since 2006.” They further noted, “The Dhaka Motor Show, Dhaka Bike Show, and related exhibitions under the Auto Series of Exhibitions serve as a one-stop platform for automobile enthusiasts and business stakeholders to connect under one roof. Through these exhibitions, global knowledge and technology exchange is taking place, enhancing Bangladesh’s image in the international market while also contributing significantly to the advancement of the country’s motor, bike, vehicle, motorsports, and electric vehicle (EV) sectors.”
The organizers emphasized that the Dhaka Motor Show is the largest and only international exhibition in Bangladesh’s motor, bike, and automotive component sectors. “It is a one-stop platform for cutting-edge and innovative technology presentations where buyers, visitors, and entrepreneurs are introduced to brand-new vehicles, equipment, accessories, and emerging technologies,” they added.
