Free exhibition at Science Museum for children living in slums
The science museum gallery was opened for poor children living in slums. Today, Tuesday, (November 1), 39 students from the slum dwellers and rickshaw pullers of the capital's Rupnagar area were invited to the Science Museum.
There were also ticket-free mobile science exhibits, movie buses, VR, Titanic Zone, and aviation galleries. These children never had the opportunity to come to the museum at their own expense. Dr. Anupam Hossain, the main organizer of the 'School of Life', a voluntary organization for children from poor families initiated this opportunity.
These children are being nurtured under the supervision of this professional doctor. These children were overwhelmed with joy as they got the chance to enter the museum and engage with the various exhibits. Children were given food items and souvenirs from the organization. Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, Director General of Science Museum, founder of 'School of Life' Dr. Anupam Hossain and director of BIDS Dr. Manjur Hossain were present at that time.
The children from poor families got a unique motivation to build their future life through the visit to the science museum in a joyful environment for about 5 hours.
