A month later, the damaged server of BRTA has been operational
The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) launched the server a month after the violence in the anti-discrimination student movement.
This server has been activated since Sunday (August 18). BRTA informed this matter in a public notice on Monday (August 19).
It is said in the public notice that on July 18 and 19 miscreants set fire and vandalized the BRTA head office at Banani in the capital. Since then, BRTA has stopped the application for distribution of driving license, vehicle registration number across the country.
According to BRTA, server and IS have been activated in BRTA building. Motor vehicle related services (registration, transfer of ownership, fitness, tax-token and route-permit and renewal or renewal of driving license) have been launched by BRTA. All are requested to take services from BRTA circle office in the circular.
