Dario Amodei, chief executive officer (CEO) of leading US artificial intelligence research company Anthropic, is set to attend a special dinner at the White House at the invitation of President Donald Trump. Citing reliable sources, technology news outlet TechCrunch has confirmed that this will be the first private, in-person meeting between Trump and Amodei.
The meeting carries particular significance amid recent policy disagreements and political tensions between the two over AI safety, technological expansion and government regulation.
