Consultation Meeting on Innovation Fair
- First Innovation Fair scheduled at Novo Theatre

A preparatory consultation meeting has been held at the Ministry of Science and Technology ahead of the first three-day “Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026”, organised under the management of the National Museum of Science and Technology. The fair will be held from September 12 to 14 at Novo Theatre in Bijoy Sarani, Dhaka, featuring exhibitions by young researchers, innovators, scientists and science-based organisations.
On 12 August, Wednesday, the preparatory consultation meeting was held in the conference room of the Ministry of Science and Technology under the chairmanship of Secretary Md Anwar Hossain.
The meeting was informed that the Prime Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has kindly agreed to attend the opening ceremony of the “Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026”. Discussions were held on various preparations and arrangements to ensure the smooth organisation of the event.
Senior officials of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Director General of the National Museum of Science and Technology and officials from relevant departments and organisations attended the meeting.
Representatives of Spellbound Communications, which has been assigned responsibility for event management, were also present.
The meeting was informed that the three-day fair will feature stalls by young researchers, innovators and scientists from various universities, as well as science-based organisations and institutions. The event is expected to provide young people with an opportunity to showcase their research, innovations and science-based initiatives
