Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has officially introduced the 'Clean Care' Digital Waste Management System to transform urban cleanliness operations into a more modern, transparent, and accountable infrastructure. DSCC Administrator Md. Abdus Salam inaugurated the civic service application today (Tuesday) at a ceremony held at the Nagar Bhaban auditorium.

According to DSCC sources, under the theme 'Clean City, Conscious Life,' residents can now use this platform to directly report grievances regarding waste removal, garbage accumulation, and drainage system discrepancies. Furthermore, the app offers the unique capability to track the real-time progress of complaint resolution, alongside displaying the name and contact number of the assigned field official. Citizens can also submit feedback or satisfaction responses regarding the actions taken. To avail of this service, users need to download the 'Clean Care' app from the Google Play Store and sign in using their mobile number.

Speaking as the chief guest, DSCC Administrator Md. Abdus Salam noted, "Developed cities across the world are now operating waste management workflows through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics. Keeping that reality in mind, DSCC has launched this digital setup." He added that evaluating data from this system will enable data-driven, cost-effective decisions on identifying areas with high waste generation and allocating precise manpower or utility vehicles. Terming citizen participation as 'vital,' he stated that the app will serve as an 'effective digital bridge' between the city corporation and the public.

DSCC authorities expect that this digital waste management framework will allow seamless coordination, monitoring, and evaluation at every phase of sanitation, heavily contributing to building a cleaner, healthier, and smarter Dhaka. The inauguration event was presided over by Air Commodore Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Chief Waste Management Officer of DSCC.
