Nothing Nears New Launch with Phone (4B)

Smartphone brand Nothing is set to maintain its reputation for innovation with the launch of a new handset early next month. Ending weeks of speculation, the company has officially confirmed that the latest addition to its much-anticipated “B” series will debut as the Nothing Phone (4B).

Through social media channels and a dedicated microsite on India’s leading e-commerce platform Flipkart, Nothing announced that the smartphone will be unveiled simultaneously in India and global markets on July 7.

Design and Camera Hints Emerge

Alongside the launch announcement, Nothing has released a new official design sketch of the Phone (4B), sparking considerable interest among technology enthusiasts.

Earlier rumors suggested that the device might feature a single rear camera. However, the newly revealed sketch points to a different direction. It shows a rectangular camera island housing a vertically aligned capsule-shaped camera module. The module appears relatively large, leading to speculation that it could accommodate multiple camera sensors.

A separate smaller capsule-shaped cutout can be seen beside the camera module, which is expected to house the LED flash and autofocus sensor.

The sketch also reveals a horizontal strip positioned above the camera island, reminiscent of the lighting elements seen on the earlier Phone (4A). However, the company has not clarified whether this is part of Nothing’s signature Glyph lighting system or simply a design feature.

Although Nothing’s budget-focused sub-brand CMF recently announced that it would not launch a new smartphone this year due to rising memory chip prices, the parent brand is moving ahead with the release of its affordable B-series device.

The official pricing and complete specifications of the Nothing Phone (4B) are expected to be revealed during the launch event on July 7.
