Crypto Consolidation: Bitcoin Near $77K as Liquidity Lifts Market

A positive momentum is sweeping the global cryptocurrency market. On Friday (May 1), the price of Bitcoin approached $77,000. This upward movement in the leading digital currency has been driven by increasing market liquidity and balanced buying pressure.

According to data from CoinMarketCap on Friday, Bitcoin’s price rose by 1.55 percent over the past 24 hours. Alongside Bitcoin, other digital currencies also remained stable:

  • Ethereum: Trading near $2,300 (approximately ₹2.18 lakh).
  • Binance Coin: Priced around $617.
  • Solana: Trading in the $84 range.
  • Dogecoin and XRP: Stable at approximately $0.10 and $1.37 respectively.

Reasons Behind the Stability:
Market analysts believe the crypto market is currently in a consolidation phase due to several factors:

  1. Increased Liquidity: Stable inflows of USDT have improved overall liquidity, helping stabilize Bitcoin’s price.
  2. Institutional Activity: Despite the absence of major market-moving triggers, consistent participation from institutional investors is strengthening the market.
  3. Balanced Demand: Buying demand is currently well-aligned with selling pressure, maintaining equilibrium in the market.

Analysts’ Views:
Vikram Subburaj, Chief Executive Officer of Giottus, stated that the $75,000 to $75,800 range is currently acting as a strong support level for Bitcoin. Over the past week, selling pressure has been effectively absorbed at this level. However, he advised investors to wait and observe market movements before taking significant positions.

Meanwhile, the WazirX Market Desk noted that Ethereum is currently in a stable position and does not indicate a strong directional trend in the short term.

At present, the crypto market is experiencing steady progress. If Bitcoin manages to sustain its position above $77,000, it is expected to test higher resistance zones in the near future.
