Online Editors Alliance Holds Iftar Gathering in Dhaka
The Online Editors Alliance, an organization representing the heads of online and digital platforms of the country’s leading media outlets, held an iftar gathering on Thursday (12 March).
The event took place at a restaurant in Gulshan in the capital under the chairmanship of the organization’s President Md. Hasan Sharif of Daily Jugantor. Special guest at the program was Md. Sujauddaulla (Sujan Mahmud).
Also present were the organization’s Vice Presidents Lutfur Rahman Himel of Nagorik Protidin, KM Ziaul Haque of JagoNews24.com, and MAHM Kabir Ahmed of RTV.
Among others attending were General Secretary Mizanur Rahman Sohel of Kalbela; Joint General Secretaries Kamrul Islam Rubel of DBC News and Anisur Rahman Bulbul of Agamir Somoy; Organizing Secretary Palash Mahmud of Asia Post; Assistant Organizing Secretary SA Rahman Galib of Daily Inqilab; Finance Secretary Moin Bokul of Star News; and Office Secretary Masud Bin Abdur Razzaq of Deepto TV.
Among the executive members present were Shiabul Rahman Shihab of The Financial Express, Rowshan Prodhan of Amar Desh, and Mansura Chameli of Barta24.com.
The meeting discussed the organization’s future plans and gathered various suggestions from members. President Hasan Sharif provided specific guidance aimed at strengthening and better organizing the association’s activities.

Leaders of the organization expressed their commitment to playing a more effective role in the future and called for greater dynamism in the association through mutual cooperation among members.
At the end of the event, Eid gifts were distributed among the members of the organization.
