Samsung has announced that 120 games will be playable on its content platform “Odyssey 3D Hub” for glasses-free 3D monitors by the end of this year. The information was revealed on Monday, 9 March, at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. The report was published by Engadget.

Currently, around 60 games are available on the platform. Newly announced titles include Cronos: The New Dawn and Hell Is Us—both third-person action games that were released last year.

Samsung’s Odyssey 3D Hub platform already features popular titles such as Stellar Blade, Lies of P and Psychonauts 2. With the addition of new games, the company expressed optimism about the future of 3D display technology.

Last year, journalists from Engadget who experienced the technology firsthand were reportedly impressed. According to them, if 3D technology had been this advanced from the beginning, it would likely have gained wider acceptance among users. These monitors incorporate head-tracking technology, allowing users to play without needing to remain seated in a fixed position.

Samsung has already introduced several models of glasses-free 3D displays to the market, including monitors with screen sizes of up to 32 inches. At GDC, the company also announced a new partnership with CD Projekt Red. Under this collaboration, Samsung’s HDR10+ Gaming standard will be integrated into Cyberpunk 2077.
