CAAB Advises Middle East-Bound Passengers to Confirm Flights Before Heading to Airport

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has urged passengers traveling to the Middle East to contact their respective airlines and travel agencies before departing for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

The information was disclosed in a press release issued on Saturday night, 28 February, by CAAB Director Kowsar Mahmud.

According to the release, the airspace of Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates has been temporarily closed due to the deterioration of the regional security situation in the Middle East. In this context, passengers have been requested to confirm their travel plans by contacting their respective airlines and travel agencies prior to commencing their journeys.
